Project Description
Technologists, Inc. is performing site-adaptation, site and infrastructure design and construction for a new campus facility for the Afghan National Army (ANA), Infantry Kandak at ANA Shaheen in Balkh Province, Afghanistan. The Infantry Kandak is an ANA military post which will house approximately 635 soldiers. Ti is designing and providing material, labor, and equipment to construct buildings, parking, utilities and other infrastructure for a design population of 635 people.
Ti will build over two dozen buildings and infrastructure, including:
- Administration Building
- Headquarters Building
- Barracks
- Weapons & Warehouse Storage Buildings
Ti will connect to the existing potable water system, after we evaluate the water system in the light of growing needs. We will evaluate the existing power distribution system and design a supplemental power distribution system to supply power to all new base building interiors and exteriors. Ti will design and construct the entire road system for the compound, which will provide easy access to all fuel tanks, the sewage holding tank, and the trash collection points.
