Project Description
This project consists of the design and construction of site improvements and facilities to support the Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) Battalion Headquarters in Adraskan, Herat Province, Afghanistan.
Preliminary work for this task included
- Design
- Site survey
- Master planning
- Unexploded ordnance (UXO) de-mining
- Demolition and grading
Technologists, Inc. built over four dozen buildings, including:
- Administration building with communications and arms rooms
- Barracks buildings
- Logistics building
- Toilet, ablution and shower building
- Laundry building
- Training facility
- Fuel storage and vehicle refuel point
- Ammunition supply point
- Guard shacks, gate house, guard towers and perimeter wall
Ti connected the existing potable water system, after evaluating the water system. Ti evaluated the existing power distribution system and designed a supplemental power distribution system to supply power to all new base building interiors and exteriors. Ti designed and constructed the entire road system for the compound, which provides easy access to all fuel tanks, the sewage holding tank, and the trash collection points. A storm drainage system was also included.
In addition, Ti set up our own site security at the facility to supplement existing police security.
