Project Description
The small village of Chamkani is about six miles from a road crossing into the tribal, ungoverned western mountain region of Pakistan. Technologists, Inc. designed and constructed site improvements and facilities—including buildings and infrastructure to support roughly 100 staff members—at this regional headquarters facility.
The project site required surveying to establish site boundaries. Control had to be maintained over the placement of more than two dozen structures, so a survey team remained on-site for the duration of the project.
The team performed a geotechnical investigation, leach field testing, water well capacity testing, and topographic survey. Ti paved and graded the entire site after installation of all required drainage structures, buried utilities or other project components. We designed utility and drainage plans, with existing grades, proposed grades, and building floor elevations. All building floors were placed over the 10-year flood elevation.
