Project Description
Technologists, Inc. designed, procured, constructed and commissioned two 10MW deisel generator power plants in at the New Industrial Park and Russian Silo sites in Kandahar City. These two plants comply with the latest applicable standards of the International Electrical Commission (ILC), International Standards Organization (ISO) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).
The two new power plants are connected to the existing 20kV Kandahar City power distribution grid. Ti installed new generators and auxilliary equipment, including all associated switching, grid tie-in, earthing and protection hardware.
Ti provided all tests, surveys, designs, materials, and labor. We also completed all clearing, excavating, backfilling, construction and site restoration, as well as unexploded ordnance (UXO) removal and force protection measures.
