Sher Khan Bandar Border Crossing Customs and Police Facilities

Project Description

In August 2005, Technologists, Inc. was awarded the design/build contract for the Border Crossing Customs and Police Facilities at Sher Khan Bandar, Afghanistan.

This facility—part of a broader initiative that includes building a bridge linking Afghanistan to Tajikistan—will facilitate trade and transit in a safe, secure manner. Serving as a key link on a regional highway eventually extending from Karachi to Astana, Kazakhstan, Ti’s efforts at the Afghan-Tajik border are an important part of the region’s economic growth and mark a historic point in the rebuilding of Afghanistan.
