A Construction Foreman is required to work in adverse weather conditions and be around moving machinery. Good knowledge of building construction and repair methods, materials and equipment, and state and local building codes is required. Electrical EngineerMinimum experience: five years Certifications or license required Technologists, Inc. is currently working on 21 active design/build contracts in Afghanistan ranging from national police academies to border crossing stations, logistical facilities, military bases, water treatment facilities, and major highways. Our team is based in our newly built headquarters compound in Kabul which includes comfortable guest house accommodations for our US staff. An Electrical Engineer designs and develops electrical systems and/or components to high specifications, focusing on economy, safety and reliability. They are involved in projects from the design concept through to implementation, acceptance testing and handover. Electrical engineers work as part of multidisciplinary teams, not only with engineers from other specializations, but also with architects and technicians. Electrical engineers need technical knowledge along with the ability to project manage and multi-task. The Structural Engineer should have a working knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE and UBC codes and standards. This individual should be experienced in the use of structural analysis programs, including, STAAD, GTSTRUDL, Frameworks and SAP2000 in a microstation environment. Candidates must be experienced in the preparation of technical specifications and drawings. Knowledge of and experience with USACE systems and procedures is highly desirable. |
