Rotary Wing Parking, Jalalabad Airfield

Technologists, Inc. designed and constructed a rotary wing parking area at Jalalabad Airfield, Afghanistan. Ti preformed geotechnical studies and developed the civil and final foundation designs in addition to design on other strctures.

The primary facilities included:

  • 5,600 square meters of concrete airfield parking aprons
  • 1,600 square meters of asphalt airfield apron shoulders
  • 21 geound points/tiedowns
  • Marking and striping.

The completed facility also includes electric service and other utilities, as well as appropriate anti-terrorism measures.
