Groundwater Well and Elevated Tank Water-Supply System
Technologists, Inc. (Ti) designed, constructed, and renovated the Afghan National Army’s Central Movement Agency headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. The facility serves as the command center of the ANA’s national transportation system.
Ti renovated three existing barracks, a dining facility, shower and latrine building, and vehicle maintenance facility, and relocated two guard towers. Ti also paved the entry road, constructed aggregate roads and parking areas, installed barriers and perimeter fencing, and provided landscaping and site drainage.
Ti designed and installed a groundwater well and elevated-tank system to supply water to the compound. Other infrastructure developed by Ti included a septic-sewer collection and wastewater treatment system, communication system, and a 1.5 MVA power plant with Caterpillar diesel-powered generators and elevated fuel storage.
