Septic Tank and Leach Field at Herat Garrison

 

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) upgraded the Afghan National Army garrison in Herat to establish a safe and secure environment that will strengthen the Afghan government in that region.

 

Ti designed and constructed five arms storage and laundry facilities, a fitness center, public works building with aggregate storage yard, fire station, community center, and athletic track and field. All of these buildings included safety measures, electricity, plumbing, and HVAC.

 

Ti connected the finished facilities to the existing water distribution system, as well as the existing sanitary sewer collection and a leach field treatment system. Athletic facilities built on top of the leach field take advantage of nutrients in the water to grow grass for playing fields.
