Jalalabad Aircraft Parking

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) designed and built a parking area for rotary-wing aircraft at Jalalabad Airfield, Afghanistan. Preliminary work consisted of site survey, geotechnical investigation, and earthworks grading.

Ti developed a proprietary concrete mix for this project that met all required standards for strength and durability.

The completed facility included 5,600 cubic meters of concrete airfield parking aprons, 1,600 cubic meters asphalt airfield apron shoulders, 21 ground points and tie-downs, plus marking and striping.

This project also demonstrated Ti’s ability to complete construction work on a controlled-access site that featured special flight-line access restrictions and requirements.
