Afghan National Police Border Police Zone Command, Gardez

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) designed and built an Afghan National Police (ANP) border zone command in Paktya province, Afghanistan.

Preliminary work for this task included design, site survey and geotechnical investigation, master planning, as-built drawings, and unexploded ordnance (UXO) de-mining. Ti built over a dozen buildings, including an administration building, barracks, laundry building, training building, weapons storage, warehouse storage, personnel bunkers, trash collection points, and the main headquarters building.

Ti constructed a new water distribution system, as well as a sanitary sewer and stormwater collection and management system. Ti installed a power distribution system and communications infrastructure to new base buildings. Ti also designed and constructed the entire road system for the compound, including grading, walkways, chain link fencing, and entry control points (ECP).
