Afghan National Police Uniformed Police District Headquarters, Char Bulkh

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) served as prime contractor for the design and construction of a district headquarters for the Afghan National Police Uniformed Police (ANP-UP) in Balkh Province, Afghanistan.

Ti developed plan sheets to supplement existing design documents, and performed geotechnical investigations. Ti swept the site for unexploded ordnance (UXO) before grading the site for adequate drainage, and demolished multiple buildings. Ti then built a one-story police headquarters building, including all electrical, water, and sewer utilities, roads and parking, and a force-protection perimeter wall with embedded guard towers. In addition, Ti built a Family Response Unit building and a small women’s barracks.
