Army Infantry Kandak

 

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) designed and built a new campus for the Afghan National Army infantry kandak at Camp Shaheen in Balkh Province, Afghanistan. Prior to construction Ti completed design work, a site survey, geotechnical investigation, master planning, as-built drawings, and removal of unexploded ordnance.

 

Ti then built more than a dozen buildings, including the main headquarters building, an administration building, barracks, laundry facility, training center, weapons storage facility, warehouse, personnel bunkers, and trash collection points. Ti also installed a power distribution system and communications infrastructure for all new base buildings, and designed and built the road system for the entire compound.
