Capacity Development Award

 

On March 1, 2011, the Afghanistan Builders Association, in cooperation with the US Army Corps of Engineers-Afghanistan Engineering District North, hosted the “The First Annual Contractors Recognition Awards Ceremony 2010” in Kabul. Technologists, Inc. was nominated for “Design/Build Company of the Year”, and won “Capacity Development Award of the Year 2010”. Ti is firmly committed to capacity building in every project.

Commanders’ coins by CFC-A CENTCOM

 

Technologists, Inc. received eight Commanders’ Coins in 2005. Among them, Ti received the Medal of Excellence from USACE Commanding General and Chief of Engineers (CECG) LTG Carl A. Strock for our work at Department of Defense sites in Afghanistan, a third party endorsement at the highest level recognizing the outstanding quality of our work.

Commander’s Annual Safety Award

 

In 2010, the Army Corps of Engineers-Afghanistan Engineer District (USACE-AED.) awarded Technologists, Inc. the “Commander’s Annual Safety Award for Contractor of the Year” for outstanding safety practices.

At Ti, we understand that effective construction site safety is achieved through a committed, cooperative relationship between all project stakeholders. Consequently, Ti has an established corporate Safety and Health (S&H) Plan that has served as a template for all projects since 2007.

AACC Business Person of the Year

 

The Afghan American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) named Technologists, Inc. CEO Aziz Azimi “Business Person of the Year” for 2008–2009. Mr. Azimi was honored for leading Ti’s ground-breaking human resources and small business capacity-building program and for setting an example in best practices for Afghanistan’s private and public sectors. The award states, “To Mr. Sayed Aziz Azimi — For His Significant Contribution to Building the New Economy and the Human Resource Cappacity of Afghanistan”.
