Faryab University

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) partnered with Perez APC to repair and rehabilitate Faryab University in Maimana. The university was founded in 1977 as a teacher-training college but years of neglect had left its facilities in poor condition. When another contractor defaulted on the project, the Ti-Perez team completed the work for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Ti replastered and repainted interior walls and ceilings that had been damaged by a leaking roof. Ti also upgraded the electrical wiring system and connected the building to the local power grid.

After repairing the roof to prevent future leaks, Ti also made other indoor and outdoor repairs that brought the facility into compliance with modern building codes. The restored facility better serves current needs and will allow for future developments in educational technology and an increased student population.
