Kabul Industrial Park
Technologists, Inc.’s (Ti) first project in Afghanistan was the design and construction of three industrial parks in Kabul, Kandahar, and Mazar-i-Sharif for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The industrial parks were part of a multiyear USAID effort to reduce poverty by promoting economic growth. The industrial parks, which are still in operation today, promote the growth of the formal economy by offering investors secure facilities, clear land titles, and all necessary infrastructure for business success.
Ti’s success in delivering these first three facilities led to our winning dozens of additional projects in Afghanistan, including roads and bridges, army bases, police stations, border crossings, and governmental administrative centers.
