Hospital Security Upgrades

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) provided internal security and force-protection improvements to the Afghan National Army military hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan to provide a safer environment both for medical personnel and patients. Prior to construction, Ti completed a site survey and submitted to the client multiple cost-saving design alternatives.

Ti replaced approximately 750 meters of an existing stone/metal wall with a 3-meter high stone wall that was topped with a concrete cap and metal posts to hold concertina wire. Ti then built six two-story guard towers, complete with electrical power, and installed three entry-control points with jersey barriers plus lifting and sliding gates. Ti completed the facility by paving several roads and installing chain-link fencing atop existing stone walls.
