Ministry of Interior Technical Center Warehouse Renovation, Phase 1

Technologists, Inc. (Ti) rehabilitated, renovated, and made internal improvements and additions to six buildings at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) Technical Center Warehouse in Kabul, Afghanistan. All work on this contract complied with U.S. design and International Building Codes (IBC, 2006) and Life Safety Codes (NFPA-101, 2009).

Ti demolished the existing Tire and Battery Shop, and replaced it with a pre-engineered building (PEB). Ti renovated these other buildings: the main warehouse, the Heavy Maintenance building, the Body Shop, the Wood Shop, the Main Office/Maintenance Shop, and latrines. Ti also installed new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and designed and built a new electrical substation.
